I was talking to my supervisor about job duties and how I've taken on extra responsibilities since we are short staffed. She assigned me a task (we'll call it Task A) and ive been working on Task A for about two months now as “temporary” coverage. I asked how much longer ill have to work on task A and she said something along the lines of “we want you donewith task A asap. We pay you too much to have you doing Task A long term”.
Idk why but this really got to me. This isn't the first time she's said something about being paid 'too much' for a task ive been assigned. I work for a charity so they are barely paying me anything to begin with. I could literally make more working at the grocery store.
