I do doordash when time permits for extra money. Pays well enough to be worth it, usually.
I noticed a pay discrepancy that shorted me about $10. After several calls, I was told it was a canceled order that I had delivered. Customer canceled, not me. Then, today, a friend I told about it sends me a link to a story about a Doordash glitch that happened Thursday. This glitch allowed people to order food without providing a valid payment method.
Specifically, the order I delivered was for 2 bottles of Don Julio from a liquor store. Total on the receipt was $455 and a bit of change.
I'm not even mad. As bad as things are, if you can get one over on the system and get a taste of the good life for a few nights, get it. I'll try to get my $10 from Doordash, but if not, well done either way.
Could have offered me a taste though. 🤨
