I’ve been unemployed for almost 3 months, and I applied to a sales job. I got grilled by the interviewer for my unemployment, and he criticized me for “trying out different industries” when he saw my work experience.
Uh, yeah? I’m 24 years old, not 40. Of course I’m trying to find the right industry for me. And besides, why should I be loyal to a certain industry if they toss people to the trash when they’re no longer useful?
During the interview, he just kept shitting on me passive aggressively but towards the end he scheduled another interview with the general manager. He later said that he schedules for the general manager whenever he’s “on the fence” about someone and that they really need people.
And there it is: We really need people.
Seriously dude? You know damn well you need people, but you want to shit on me during the entire interview, act all high and mighty and say you’re “really picky” about who you chose to hire, but then you want me to come back. Shit doesn’t make any sense.
