I'm a warehouse worker/manager(only warehouse guy) and the parts sales guy at a small company. I started in the warehouse and slowly gained more responsibilities over the past year and a half. I received a raise of 1 dollar last year shortly after I quit to go to a higher paying job that I hated very much. I came back and I got another 2 dollar raise because they couldn't find a replacement. Fast forward now. I've been doing a really good job working hard, taking initiative like an idiot. I've been complemented by my boss and the owner multiple times in the recent months. The other day I talked to my boss asking for a review that I was promised this summer they said she would get to it soon. The next day I talked to the owner and he said id be getting “earned responsibilities” along with a raise. If i don't get a large enough raise depending on the new workload I will demand more pay or I will leave. I'm angry about being rewarded with more work.
