Company announcement was made that jobs were being outsourced to Phillipines. They said people won't get fired, but transitioned onto different teams. Typically, this is done to save money on labor. No reason was given though as to why, but was presented as exciting opportunities for employees. Companies have long outsourced US jobs strictly for cheap labor. Typically, jobs are less wanted than what they had. Just a frustrating way to start the work week.
