I work for a very small animal clinic, 10 people in total. We, the employees, have all been talking about the cost of gas and how we are really struggling to get by. Today, without being prompted, without us asking, our boss in passing says how he's increasing everyone's pay by a dollar an hour starting this pay period. This won't be a life changing amount of money, but and extra ~$100/mo is going to go a long way for my gas bill. I stay with this clinic because the boss, while not perfect, at least tries. He's kind and considerate. He never belittles us, and I have personally never been denied a pay raise when I ask for it. He and my supervisor consistently thank me for my hard work. Be like Dan.
