Employer requesting letter of recommendation for my replacement

Hello everyone, I've recently put in my two weeks notice at a job that I've come to despise due to various reasons. However, now I'm thinking about outright quitting due to recent developments. My employer has found another mployee who they want to take my position after I leave, and they want me to train them. Hello everyone,

I've recently put in my two weeks notice at a job that I've come to despise due to various reasons. However, now I'm thinking about outright quitting due to recent developments.

My employer has found another mployee who they want to take my position after I leave, and they want me to train them. On top of that, for some reason they want me to give this person a letter of recommendation so that upper management can speed up the process. They also told me that this person cannot start any training to fill my position until they receive this letter of recommendation.
I have been confronted at work the past two days about this, and I know I will be confronted every single day until I complete my two weeks.

I refuse to train this employee or give them a letter of recommendation. Considering I only have a few more days to go, should I try to wait it out or just outright quit? Any advice is appreciated, and thank you all in advance!
