I don’t even know where to begin to explain this. I’m 8-5 M-F. My job agreement says this.
A new policy was just added that we need to be on call 24/7 just incase one of our servers go down. There is no extra pay for this, since we are salary.
They say to not put do not disturb on just in case they need us and any time of the day is fair game.
Just this Saturday morning we had someone call us at 8:30AM asking for server help.
Those are my days off!! Basically I’m going to be stressed out knowing I may have to go into the office TA any time every second of my life.
