Employers do not give a flying fuck about loyalty

Been working at this place for over 2 years and risking my life during the pandemic for them. I asked for a livable wage and a promotion after getting good reviews by managment. Instead they hired some new guy on my team a few weeks later after only being there a couple of months. Fuck them.
