For those looking for an update, I handed in my notice, Friday the 11th of March was my last day. Said my goodbyes to all of my amazing colleagues bar one.
Long story short, the company offered me a match in salary, plus a managerial role. I looked the Director in the eye and asked if he was serious, he started smiling and putting his hands on the table, and then crossing his arms like he just offered me a lifeline. I then asked him again, you're offering me a match in salary, 2 days from home and a managerial role, however my new role is PERMANENT WFH? Yeah I won't have the management role at the new place, but I won't be this stressed out for the same money…..I said give me double the salary or I'm out. He started panicking and interviewed half the company for the role which everyone turned down due to the absolute horrific management style.
In the end I start my new role in 3 days and I never have to leave the comfort of my own home with a good salary and actual benefits.
