As I start this off. This is my first post in reddit so please bare with me. Ive been welding 7-8 year’s all over Texas, Oklahoma and various other states. I have had my fair share of Fabrication/ welding/ helper positions to being lead/foreman positions. Time and family finally coaxed me to come home to a small shop position, right outside Houston. I have now been there about 1.5 years. Ive had my screw ups and everything in between but I always fix/ correct my mistake’s because of what I’ve learned along the way. My supervisor is a guy in his late 30’s with an ego the size of the sun. Haven’t been able to stand him since I was hired. Very know it all kinda guy. He has worked in manufacturing for about 15 years but never in the production/ welding side. So as you can guess he rubs me the wrong way most days. I do not respect this guy one bit. He’s worse than dog shit on the bottom of a blown out croc. And always tries to make it a point to try and call me out in front of my fellow co workers/ the sales guys. For this reason i always have things to say right back very promptly. So at this point I’m in the back and forth of looking for another job even though i absolutely love my job and the people i work with. Just wanted to put this out into existence.
