Entry level Chemist

I have my first round of interviews on Thursday, in an entry level position. The requirements are a BSc Chemistry, and one year related experience. I had to write a test to apply, and write another test before the interview. The wage is less than what I make now, working as a sanitation worker in a hospital. My degree is one of the hardest to attain in university, but after looking around the past few months I am disheartened by the jobs I see. I've seen posting to work at toy stores that pay more. How am I meant to earn a living, if a full time job isn't enough to pay rent? This is one of the few full time jobs I have found in…

How am I meant to earn a living, if a full time job isn't enough to pay rent? This is one of the few full time jobs I have found in my city. I was contacted by another company that advertising full time, but in reality the position was on call casual work. Requiring to be on call day and night for a minimum 4 days a week for six months. No guaranteed hours, and expected to be on site within two hours of the call.
