Don’t meant to speak for every American however…
Yes, we Americans believe there is absolute paradise on Mother Earth….
Bad health can ruin our lives here. Our elderly are suffering because our system does a shit job at taking care of them. The Education system in our country does nothing but condition us to live like slaves and don’t question it. Politics aren’t doing anything but trying to advertise their agenda’s that doesn’t actually help us and meant to make our politicians and millionaires and billionaires richer. We are selling about 40-50% of our life’s and can’t even get decent transportation to our jobs, hardly any paid time off, not even close to the amount of money we need to live comfortably, and when we stop selling our time on this earth, only a small tiny fraction of us are lucky to have savings built up to take care of ourselves…the rest of us more than likely can’t even afford retirement. In some cities walking down the street can cost you your life cause our country doesn’t know how to handle gun problems…
The list goes on and on and on and on, however the point is, us Americans aren’t clueless to the fact that there is no paradise, but in countries like Denmark and Finland, they’re a hell of a lot closer to it than we are.
As the New saying goes, The US is a 3rd world country disguised as a 1st world country.
And yes many problems are universal and not just within the US like wage slaves, political problems, basic human rights, crime problems, etc etc…
But at least some countries have political SYSTEMS alone that makes those problems quite a bit less terrifying.
