Everybody is running around like mad men trying to make my workplace not look like it’s falling apart because a couple corporate big wigs are coming to run their bs numbers and I’m still just doing my job (and taking my appropriate amount of breaks of course ). All they’re going to do is walk by me, say hi and maybe “ask about how things are going” so I’ll bs that too if necessary. And if they decide to fire me, I’ll just go on unemployment for a while until I decide what I really want to do in life. I’m not jumping because despite our conditioning, corporate managers are people, not gods. Life is so much better when you realize that you are so much more than just a rich man’s toy.
