Without giving too much away – the executive for a business unit of ours recently had to step in and do entry level work as they cannot find workers for the poverty wages they hire entry level workers at.
So no workers and things need to keep going or we get way out of compliance with our contracts so the executive stepped in and did what they had to do to keep it going.
The Executive team saw this persons pure courage to step in and get the job done rather then hiring at a few bucks more an hour to attract talent…so they gave them a 20k bonus for being a team player.
This stuff just bothers me.
