I have been working for my uncle now (under a contract) for about 4 months under my own LLC doing some handyman jobs and working at his auto shop.
I met with him today to get paid (haven’t been paid in 9 weeks, we agreed to be paid monthly) and he refused to pay me everything that was owed and got very angry at me
He owes me about $7000 I got paid $4250.
The reason he says he refuses to pay me is because I didn’t take some photographs for him in a timely manner to sell his vehicles, and some of the work I’ve been doing for him has took longer than he wants.
The contract says “non-exclusive tasking as directed, to be performed by persons of your choosing by means of your choosing at times convenient to your organization as requested by me or persons working for my organizations”
I don’t know what to do and at the same time I don’t want to upset other family members by making a big deal out of it.
Some wisdom would be greatly appreciated
