So, I saw a “We're Hiring” poster at my local grocery store and it listed several positions. Manager said to apply online. I applied online and called to tell the manager I applied and asked about a certain position. Then he tells me that they are just taking applications right now and will contact people when positions open. So I asked if they were actively hiring and he repeated the same thing- We are taking applications right now … I asked him about the “We're Hiring ” poster. Again he just repeated that they were taking applications.
Got no where with that. Just farming applications. Just wanted to rant a little.
