Not entirely sure if this is the correct place to be posting this, but I just need to get it off my chest
I’ve been at my workplace for nearly 10 years, in November of 2021 I was threatened with physical violence, verbally assaulted, and threatened to be followed home by another worker. He quit and 2 months later was rehired. The formal complaints (3 of them) I had written was never submitted to HR as explicitly stated by the one employers and then I was gaslighted into them saying “we never said that”. I contacted HR myself and was told, very clearly that they did not handle the situation properly. I was accused of the employers of lying, saying I was the one doing the abuse, and threatened to be terminated. They have since said they will not take action.
Don’t really know what else to do, I joined a labor union (the workplace is explicitly anti-union) as a middle finger to them. I really despise working there, but unfortunately it’s how I get my health insurance
Again, sorry if this isn’t really the right place to post this, but even if I’m just shouting into the void it’s good to just get it out, I suppose.
