I work in sales, and for the past 6 months they have been treating anyone who is part time like crap. They cut my hours to only 8hrs per week and when i became used to that they made my roster extremely unpredictable. For example one week I'll have a full shift of 38hrs then the week after just 8hrs. I explained politely that i cant live off that money and the uncertainty with my shifts is inducing anxiety. Their solution was to hire an extra part timer who they relentlessly bullied for not being as good as me at work.
Yesterday i was successful in finding another job so i called my manager and informed her I'll only be available to work on monday, tuesday, OR Wednesday. She misunderstood me and put me down to work two days instead of one!! I called her back and said one day only you get to choose either monday tuesday or Wednesday.. she said that i didnt say that earlier and she has text messages to prove that. I was like wtf..
I emailed the regional manager, manager of my store and assistant manager explaining I'll only work 8 hrs as per my orginial contract.. the regional manager emails me back saying I'll work when the business requires and not to be selfish!! I responded back saying as per my contract I'll only work 8hrs.
I dont know why i just feel so sad about all this. FUCK. I hate these companies they never listen and always act like we cant communicate.
