So about a year ago I started working at target. After about 3 months (to my recollection) I started being harassed by a coworker. She would accuse on the regular of either not doing things I was supposed to or doing things I wasn't supposed to and would quite frequently leave her work for me to do. Other people have most definitely witnessed this. Like 3 departments worth of people. I first talked to my ETL(essentially department head/manager) as we had no team lead at the time. He talked to her I think. It stopped for a while and all was well for like a month. It started happening again and so I told my team lead who had barely been there a month and eventually me and her got into it and I was fed up and started really standing my ground. Raising my voice and the works. I was not going to be bullied into submission by her and deal with her shit every day I worked there. It was hell. I was taken to HR to talk about this. The guy I and my team lead talked to was brand fucking new. The poor dude had been there a week and here I was fucking seething. Nothing ended up happening and in fact the head of HR was never even told. It kept happening and I put up with it a little longer. Then eventually about a month or two ago I started refusing to work with her when they started to schedule me with her almost constantly. They needed me in the spot they scheduled me and it happened to be with her. We go to HR once again and this time it's the head of HR. She tells me she will open an investigation into this and get back with me,but for the time being just avoid her as much as possible, but still work with her. Fast forward to today. The conclusion of her investigation was that she found nothing and the result was either that I would have to work not just with her,but under her and that if I refused then I could either resign or they would just not fire me,but not schedule me. This shit doesn't seem right. I feel a bit coerced to resign, but I didn't. I figured the smarter thing to do was wait. What do you guys think here? I'm at a loss for the situation.
(This is Oklahoma btw for any lawyers out there)
Side note: I'm sorry for any grammar or spelling issues. I'm angry and typing.
Update: thank you guys for the quick responses on this. They have been very helpful! I have also been advised from r/legaladvice that about the only thing I can realistically do here is apply for unemployment or resign. Thank you for your help!
