finally been made permanent part time

Been working for the company for 6 years as a casual. A year ago I applied for a conversation to permanent part time. It was denied due to covid lockdown having only just been lifted (even though I'm one of the few that still actually went in to keep the venue clean). This time i made sure to meet all the criteria required for conversion. I also got both the regional and cluster managers together to talk about it because I know the regional manager likes me but the cluster manager outright stated previously they won't even really consider part time conversion (funny how when your boss is in the room it sounds like a good idea now) It went through 2 weeks ago so now I have a 4 day work week, 9 hours per shift. I make $700 after tax and get the same entitlements to paid leave…

So thought I'd share a rare win.
