So I got a job a through a temp agency. Got a call from the recruiter yesterday and was told I wasn’t working up to par according to the manager, the week before I was told I was doing well but my hygiene needed work (all I did was stop wearing the usual cologne and the problem was solved). I was a bit bummed about it at first.
okay so the first week (only worked there for 3 days during that week) the recruiter called me at the end of the week and told me I was performing well and that the only thing I need to fix was my hygiene according to the manager. The following week I had no complaints about the hygiene but was told I wasn’t working up to par. Basically all they had me do was this long ass training on the computer throughout the week with small task here and there. Also had a guy train me who was only there for a month. It may be a reach here but I also think it may of been due to a cultural fit. I was interviewed over the phone and the interview was pretty quick, was hired on the spot. I didn’t meet anyone face to face until my first day. Apparently I was the only black person in my department and I didn’t speak Spanish either where everyone else did. It only sucks because I rejected a couple job offers for this. I have a few interviews lined up for next week so I’m not too worried
