Just got let go for jerking off. I work at a family owned restaurant in central Jersey and my boss is a real douche bag. Stickler for the rules. I think he’s had it out for me since I just do the bare minimum and get paid (why do extra work for minimum wage? lol).
Basically today was berserk and so when I finally got to my lunch break I was ecstatic. Usually I sit in my car on my lunches and just chill out in the air conditioning, watch some twitch streams, normal stuff. Well today I was just super stressed out. It’s important to note that the parking lot is super big, probably 100 feet between the far end of the parking lot and restaurant. I made a stupid decision and decided to rub a quick one out before going back in. I guess a patron or something saw me and told my boss so when I went back in my boss is screaming his head off at me. Well basically he told me to get out, that I was fired, that I should be ashamed of myself. I definitely shouldn’t have done it but firing me??? I didn’t do anything wrong really, is there any legal moves I can make ?
