My coworker is having difficulties finding a baby sitter so she put in her 2 weeks as courtesy just in case she had to eventually quit. They told her the next day when she came in for work they were a no fault company and didn’t need her anymore, gave her last check and sent her home. I was talking
to another coworker about it and apparently they did the same thing to a guy last week that put in his 2 weeks cause he was about to move. Are they allowed to do that?!? They’re robbing people of a whole paycheck out of retaliation it seems. I’m very sad for her because she wasn’t even leaving for sure, just trying to sort out her home life.
