Hi so my story is that I was fired because of a grooming mistake apparently on my part. (A little backstory i was growing out my hair for my wedding as my wife wanted it and i wanted to try it and i am born with natural curly hair) What had happened was that the higher up had came up to me and said ” hey your looking kinda of scruffy.” I said “ok I was thinking of shaving my face because I agree.” He than said ” ok good because our grooming is to a certain standard.” Fast forward to yesterday and he sends me home early saying that there is no jobs available so we going to send you home early stating nothing about my hair at all or the fact that I trimmed my beard to look nice. And then I walk in to work today and they walk me into the office with the general manager and they inform me that they will be letting me go as they gave me ample warnings to get my grooming the way they want it and since I didn't i was fired. I guess this is more of a get off my chest but I think it is completely moronic that I didn't even get a write up and them be straight up and say hey we sending you home early get a haircut or we will fire you next time you come in.
