I started a job on Wednesday, I was fired today after testing positive for covid.
Basically the title, my first day of training was Wednesday, I got a text message from a friend during my shift that he tested positive so I should get tested.
I told my boss, he had me wear a mask all day Wednesday since I wasn't feeling sick yet…took a test Thursday morning and sent them the results, positive.
Got a call this morning saying I “wasn't working out” and they fired me.
I'm so done with this place and honestly, adding this on top of all the other shit I'm dealing with makes me want to jump in the river.
