I worked at a prestigious place for about six months. Turned out their program in my department was awful.

A week later and I’m fired. They cited these reasons.
I made a few mistakes but I always owned up to them and NEVER repeated them. I churned out higher quality and quantity of work than other people. I made actual institutional changes at a place with 5000 employees.
The real reason I was fired? The reason my manager wouldn’t make eye contact as her boss listed reasons for my termination? My manager had consistently questioned if I wanted to be at the job since about a month in. She threatened my job subtly last week and so I started looking. I think they saw that on LinkedIn.
My biggest concern? My partner has type 1 diabetes and health care would be $1500/month that we don’t have. We have two months rent in cash that we worked hard for.
Did I goof? Sure, a few tones. Did I deserve to be fired? Idk about that one.
