I am currently filing a report with the Department of Labor because my previous employer has not and will not give me my last paycheck. They are over a week late so I finally sent an email last night telling them that I have not received my paycheck and if they fail to send me it I will obtain my funds through other resources.
I filed with the DOL and it will take over 10 business days to even respond to my inquiry. I have a family lawyer but she is insanely busy so I have no way to receive her help with this.
My bank account is the negatives, hundreds, and this would all be resolved if I had just received my damn paycheck.
Does anyone have any advice? I can’t believe this company would risk something like this just for a couple hundred dollars.
