Im moving across the state. My last day is April 9th. I gave my general manager a months notice. Then reminded him again two weeks ago. He simply said he hadn’t told anyone yet because he’s “not letting me go.” I wrote a note in our managers office and verbally told all other managers about my last day. Schedule came out today and Im scheduled until the 13th because again they’re “not letting me go.” I told them again I will be living in a different city for those shifts so no I won’t be there. Also, I’m supposed to be a transfer but since the GM isn’t “letting me go.” He hasn’t done anything to help me transfer so I’ll have to reapply in a different city and cross my fingers I get my job. I hate it here.
