I know this is a very generic title but hear me out, I've just quit my job of 4 years because it was an incredibly toxic environment. It got so bad I was shaking from anxiety cutting cakes because they couldn't be a millimeter off, I worked in a very busy cafe.
My former boss thinks of himself as a saint, he says he'll do anything for anyone but he does fuck all in reality and is an incredibly horrible individual. We had a storm a few months ago and he helped clear a tree out of the road, not out of kindness but because it'd give him a good reputation.
Well anyway I don't think he realises a few of his employees are some of my best friends because all I've heard this weekend is how much shit he's been talking about me. Saying crap like, I did so much for him, I got no respect for him etc etc. I ran that business for him, I did everything for minimum wage, and this is what I get. He's a toxic prick. If it wasn't for the location the place would have been shut down.
