My initial reaction was to be bummed out, and of course I still am. But, I also quit this job on the spot once I found out how I was being underpaid a couple of years ago. So I’d like to think I helped raise the price for this job, which was the goal all along. So it sucks for me, monetarily at least (couldn’t pay me enough to go back to work there, but that’s a separate issue), but ideologically it kind of worked?
