as in, it doesn't matter how hard you work and how good you are, you will always make the same amount unless you take a series of certifications and tests on each station, pass them all and become a trainer. then you get $2 more an hour and past that you have to be promoted to manager for another like $2-3 and so on. So if you don't want to be a trainer or just like being in the basic position or can't advance for whatever reason, it won't matter how hard you work because you will never get a raise.
this shit makes SO LITTLE sense to me, how has this company expanded to have so many stores in so many countries when this is the model? Like I don't plan to be here very long but if I did, you could bet your ASS I would be doing the bare fucking minimum for my entire time with them because what's the point of going the extra mile? My last work place was SUPER fucking toxic but I still managed like 2-3 raises a year on average from all the work I did
