Hey guys, I saw a similar post to this one the other day, but I can't find it now. Basically, as the title says, a friend of mine was forced to pay up from her own money when there was some cash missing from the cash register. If I'm not mistaken, that's kindaaa illegal to ask of a employee, so I would appreciate some advice I can share with her, what can she do in this situation? She lives in NYC, if that helps.
