I have a friend that got a major ear infection. The pain was so intense they went to the doctor for it. The doctor agreed it was pretty bad, gave my friend meds and told them to stay home two days with a note to give to the managers.
Today was going back day. The manager told me friend to go home as they were taken off the schedule and they also only scheduled my friend for 3 days this week instead of their usual 5.
Seems absurd that a manager would “punish” an employee for a documented medical issue by reducing hours. Such a sick move by an incompetent manager.
