Friend’s boss deliberately infected the staff with covid, what can she do?

My friend waits tables at a small restaurant in New Jersey. She is immunocompromised and has been extremely cautious about covid. A few weeks ago, her boss (who also owns the restaurant) contracted covid and refused to quarantine, choosing instead to come in to the cramped restaurant and expose every one of his employees to the virus. She ended up infected and missed over a week of work because of it, which he complained about. My question is, what are her legal options here? He deliberately exposed his employees to a deadly virus, which seems like both assault and some kind of OSHA violation, but I’m NAL and figured this sub would know a thing or two. Thanks everyone!
