I work in a customer service role and have done variations of customer service for most of my working career. I am sick and tired of entitled customers! I feel like I have to let them walk all over me and it sucks. I shouldn't have to endure getting yelled at just because a customer is having a bad day. I shouldn't have to apologize to a customer for their poor planning.
I think the public would be a lot nicer to the low level employees if they knew those same employees could ban them from the business. I would love to have a 1 strike policy. They get one warning and then the second time they are mean or manipulative, they are out. Unfortunately the only way I can see this happening is if I ever run my own small business.
Do you have similar feelings or stories of customers you wish you could have fired? Thanks for letting me rant!
