Started a new job in February. There seems to be a lot of people who want to talk only via Teams calls. I hate Teams calls. I have no head set so it's forcing to broadcast my conversation. Grrr
I told my supervisor I have an issue with it and about a specific incident where another employee called me on Teams and I called her back on her work phone and emailed her to say “hey, missed your call on Teams, what can I do for you.” She called me back on Teams I called her back on her phone. (I can play this game)
So today I missed two calls from a guy on Teams, I know what he is calling me about and I really would prefer he just respond back in our emails. (We've emailed ~7 times about this issue and having it in writing is ALWAYS better, come one it's work, professional, use emial) then he I guess called my supervisor on Teams cause 4 min after the second call from him I get a group call from supervisor. I ignored it too.
So am I being unreasonable or should people just use email or phones for work?
I'm late 30s if maybe this is just an age gap issue.
