This happened over a year ago. I still work at the job. Simply because I enjoy my coworkers, and some of my supervisors.
So. One day it work we were getting brought in to discuss about our raises. When I got in. I was told I was getting a decent raise. I was happy about that. After the meeting, I had found out that temps were getting paid over a dollar more. I was pissed, my supervisor was pissed. She actually went and raised hell about it. I was then called back into the upper management people where they told me they had no idea why the employees were discussing payrates. They also told me, that before I even was hired on. One of the upper management people didn't want to even hire me on. They then also told me that I had been leaving work early quite frequently and by me leaving early it really put the company in a tough spot and I should think about how that affects my coworkers.
The reason I was leaving work so early was because I have health issues.
I am glad we do have a brand new plant manager. And he helped me get my pay to what it should be. He does seem to care about us. Unlike the previous one. And if anyone is curious what happened to the old manager. He got fired because he had Covid, lied about being cleared for work and got some of the office workers infected. Not to mention his son who was hired was stealing from the company.
