I've read and enjoyed this sub for years but can't get over the fact that it takes time and underpaid effort to learn a trade. Thinking that being an adult, especially a young adult with not much experience gets you a living wage is unrealistic. I am now 36 years old and have only worked with one person who was younger than me. I do high level low voltage work and have jobs out the ass, but finding young people to train and employ is next to impossible. (Socal ready to hire)
