As the title says, I just got notified today by the HR that my position is being eliminated due to not having enough work for my role. They’re giving me 30 day notice so that I can look for other jobs. I’m really bummed because it’s only been 9 months with this company and I gave up a really nice offer to work here last year. Even if I start applying for other jobs, I’ll have to explain my current employment of 9 months to the prospective employers and that puts me in a really tough spot. I’m so angry, I wish they could’ve told me during the interview, I would’ve gone with the other company.
Is there anything I can do?
