Not much to say here. I showed up on time or early to every shift. I did everything I was supposed to. I got a promotion. Two promotions actually. I worked hard. I got employee of the month and had perfect attendance.
Four weeks ago I notified my boss I was taking a vacation. My time off was never approved but I gave them plenty of notice so I shrugged it off.
Today the district manager informed me that if I went on my vacation that would be considered job abandonment and I would be fired. So I suppose I'm getting fired in three weeks because I put down a $2,000 non-refundable payment on an AirBnb and I'm gonna use it goddammit.
