I was recently ghosted for an interview by a manager at a major department store. How many people have had the same experience? Wondering why the manager would sound friendly on the phone and through text message and then not show up to our scheduled and confirmed in-person interview. Very rude and disrespectful toward someone looking for work and who was professional talking on the phone with the manager. This is like kicking somebody when they’re down on the ground and then spitting on them when the person on the ground did nothing wrong but act professionally.
