It is happening fellow anti-workers!!! After 16 years with this place working every position since I was 20 yo, started digging literal trenches for $10/hr., I was offered the GM position. Full control! I need your help!!! This is what I got so far.
Day 1: Everybody gets a raise!!! Already got with HR about it. Been in the trenches with all my people for years and they deserve it. Had a guy leave recently because he couldn’t pay the rent. That shit is unacceptable!
Day 2: Raising the starting pay of all positions! If you want good people to do a good job, FUCKING PAY THEM!!! Greed is not the way. Share the wealth. Happy employees are more productive when they don’t stress as much about bills.
Been thinking about more things like covering health insurance premiums, profit sharing, better Holiday bonuses, more vacation/personal time, etc.
What else should I be considering changing/improving?
