Hi everybody. I’ve been jobless since July and it’s been really really difficult on my mental health. I wanted to settle so many times and just take the first job I got but everything was so underpaid that I knew I would be even more mad at myself putting myself in a shit circumstance again. You all have inspired me to not give up and work on finding a job with the pay grade that I DESERVE for the qualification I have. I got so much confidence from this forums suggestions on what to ask a straight to my interviewers face which left them shocked but impressed.(why should I work for you). They appreciated me being upfront of what I expected out of my job. I am now making 20k more starting, with full benefits and a sign on bonus. This job prioritizes mental health for their employees which was the most important for me. I am still in shock but I am so so grateful and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for raising my expectations in myself and my work environment. Best wishes everyone!
