Right, I’ll keep it short and simple. I work in a warehouse in the UK, my probation period lasts 3 months, 2 months in I get a letter about a probationary review, it’s on 10:30pm Saturday, that means I have 2 more full shifts, today and tomorrow 10pm-6am plus half an hour until I get sacked.
Question is, can I just sit on my phone in the locker room for the entire 2 shifts while clocked in or do I actually have to work? Would I still get paid if I literally came in, clocked in and did nothing for 2 entire shifts?
