As the title says, I called in at 11am to tell her I couldn't be there for my shift at 6pm because I hadn't slept since my previous shift which ended at 4am the same morning. My boss told me that she wasn't approving this leave, instead I'd be getting a disciplinary action, and hung up on me.
Bad enough we work a 9.5 hour shift (that often turns to 10 or even 11 hours depending on the customer traffic), don't get any scheduled 15 minute breaks or lunch breaks, but I also was scheduled for 8 nights in a row and only called in for the LAST one.
Was considering putting in my two weeks but this job isn't even worth saving the bridge for, so I'm done.
