Simple as the title, I got fired today for forgetting to attend my on boarding for my internship. I was hired for an unpaid, 20-week radio internship a few days ago and accepted the offer, despite other people on Reddit saying otherwise.
I knew in the back of my head that I probably had something to deal with the internship this morning, what I was looking at my reminders and it did not say about anything for today. I just received a call from the intern boss and she was talking in a sweet but yet very disappointed tone saying that she wants to cancel my position. now I have to text my trainer to cancel my training appointment.
Idk how to feel. I was kinda concerned about me accepting the offer in the first place due to me having a part time job, my volunteer job, and school to worry about, but at the same time I did not want to end it this way.
