So goddamn tired of this. Went to a temp agency and got a job that is only for 6 months unless hired on which isn't a guarantee.
Because they do an hour lunch, I only work 35 hours a week and now get paid approximately 8k less a year.
I can never get ahead with jobs. There's a layoff, or a psychotic manager, or COVID and layoffs, or another layoff.
I'm tired of it. The entire system of employment in the US is broken and disgusting. Some people get cushy jobs and make 6 figures and never get laid off, and here I am making 50k a year and getting laid off only to make even less.
