Got my pay decreased as punishment for an availability change

I was recently given a trainer class and signed up to go to a new location to train new employees. This trainer class included a $1 raise. I'm the only person in my position from the same store to be going. I've been at this store since the day they opened. About 8 months ago I asked for a raise and was told I could only get it if I take on extra responsibility. I explained my side and that i wanted the raise entirely for what i was doing at that time, and nothing more. They asked if i wanted a management position. I was very explicit in that i didn't want to move up or gain extra responsibilities. They agreed and gave me $1. So that's $2 in 8 months. They asked if i wanted a management position. I was very explicit in that i didn't want to move up or gain extra responsibilities. They agreed and gave me $1.

So that's $2 in 8 months.

Three weeks ago I explained to my boss that I would need to work mornings from now on, for quality of life and the fact that I've been asking for mornings for over a year, but we weren't yet open for mornings until three weeks ago.

He agreed with no issues and I was put on mornings.
I left my availability open on our scheduling app in case he really needed me for a night, i could make it work.

This week, the schedule comes out and i'm scheduled entirely for night shifts.
I go ahead and put in my official availability request, with the fact in mind that I may need to work these night shifts for a week due to my own negligence in putting in an “official” request.

The next day I'm asked to sit down and talk to the general manager.
She calls me “sweetie” and says that my availability won't work with training, and that i can't be a “leader” if i'm only working the slowest shifts.

I told her I have never been promoted, that's not why i got that raise, and I was willing to be flexible for training shifts, especially during the training period for this new store. I fully expected my schedule wouldn't line up entirely for that period.

She insisted my most recent raise was for taking on more responsibility and that to be a trainer I had to be “all in” with full availability.

So she's taking both raises, $2, away from me as a pathetic means of punishment.

And my boss just sat there silently. My GM told me in a later conversation that my boss told her my availability was temporary and that he also believed my previous raise was for taking on more responsibility, despite him being there for the entire conversation and knowing otherwise.

Way to have my back.

I haven't taken on any new tasks since that raise and it was never an issue. Because that's not why i got it.

But sure, punish me for having responsibilities and a life outside of work (and still being willing to work with them)

Currently looking at other job offerings.
