I just started a little over a month ago and I’m still learning, so I don’t have much to contribute yet. Also, I don’t feel the need to hear myself talk. Some of the people on my team will say the same thing several different ways for minutes straight because they love to hear themselves talk.
We have to be on camera for these meetings so they can make sure we’re paying attention. So it’s definitely some petty micro-managing gatekeeping power trip BS.
I have been annoyed ever since and just needed to vent.
